We have decided to use The Sun website to run Footygods this year.
In the past it has cost money to enter a team into The Suns Dream Team but this year it is FREE.
This basically means that we will all be able to benefit from using their superior website which also gives everyone the ability to make their own substitutions in an instant. They also allow for many more substitutions during a season than we could ever cope with.
The added bonus is that you also have a chance to win money from The Sun’s game as well as the Footygods prize money!

2. Enter your team name and choose 11 players for your team (same rules as before… £50m or less with a 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 formation).
Don’t worry if you’re unsure which players you want in your team, just pick a rough team… You can make as many free changes to your team as you like until the day before the season kicks off (Friday 12th August). Once you've picked your team click the 'confirm team' button.
No other managers will be able to see your team until just before the season kicks off so there is no risk of anyone copying your masterplan !
3. Finally enter all the info in the ‘New User Account Details’ box (First name, surname, DOB, email address and choose a memorable password). Click PROCEED.
4. Now you have created your team you will be able to join the Footygods mini-league. Click the ‘Join/Create Mini League’ button on the left of the page. In the ‘Join Mini League’ box type in the following…

All money collected is going to be split between the top league positions at the end of the season… please let me have your £10 entry as soon as you can and I’ll let everyone know how the money will be split as soon as I have a total prize fund.
Please feel free to enter as many teams as you want but each team you register with The Sun will require a different email address. Also please feel free to invite friends, family and colleagues. The more the merrier !
The Sun have five transfer windows during the season. During each transfer window you can make 3 substitutions (so you can potentially make up to 15 substitutions during the season)
Transfer Window 1 is 30 August 2011 until 5 September 2011.
Transfer Window 2 is 04 October 2011 until 10 October 2011.
Transfer Window 3 is 17 December 2011 until 23 December 2011.
Transfer Window 4 is 28 January until 06 February 2012.
Transfer Window 5 is 24 March 2012 until 02 April 2012.
